Our Heritage Tour takes you on a scenic journey through Oban and beyond, combining breathtaking coastal scenery with fascinating insights into the island's history, people, and way of life.

We begin with a leisurely drive through Oban before making our way to Lee Bay, gateway to Rakiura National Park and home to the famous Chain Link sculpture. Here you'll have time to take photographs and admire the views across Foveaux Strait.

From Lee Bay, the tour follows the island's picturesque coastal road to Ackers Point, where a short walk leads to historic Harrold's Cottage and spectacular views over Paterson Inlet. This beautifully preserved cottage offers a glimpse into Stewart Island's pioneering past.

Continuing on to Ringsringa (Whollers Point), a brief stroll brings us to the monument, commemorating an important chapter in the island's history. The point also provides another excellent opportunity for photographs and panoramic coastal views.
